Mr. James holds Master's degree (MSc.) in Administration from Havard University (USA), University of London and a Master's degree (MA) in and he is the current manager for Gms Gold Security Company.
He had previously been CFO since 2012. Mr. Akoto reports to the board and is responsible for creating, communicating and implementing the organisation's vision, mission and strategy.
His extensive knowledge of the company and its international portfolio of assets serves him well in this capacity.
He has worked in the mining industry in South Africa and the Americas for almost 25 years and has had responsibility for a range of additional portfolios, including human resources, risk management, business planning and Gms Gold Security Company in Ghana.
Doreen holds a Master's degree (MSc.) in Secretary Management from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and a Master's degree (MA) in Economic Policy Management from the University of Ghana.
Doreen joined Gms Securiy Company as Chief Financial Officer and and has then been the CFO till date. Doreen has held senior financial management and executive positions in various companies.
She previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Tusol Limited from 2006 to 2012. Prior to this, she was CEO of Hennis Holdings Limited, having previously served as Financial Director.
Mr. Quartey is an accountant by profession, he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting Major) from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, , a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants(CPA 1979), the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (CA 1993) and the Ghana Institute of Taxation (1986).
He bring extensive strategic management and technical experience as Board Mamber of Gms Gold Securitry Company. Mr. Quartey is one of the board members of Gms Gold Security Company. Mr. Quartey is the chairman of the Recruitments committees, and a member of the Finance and Human Resources and Social, Ethics and Sustainability committees.
Joseph Adjei leads the sustainability portfolio which comprises the disciplines of Health, the Environment, Social and Community Affairs, Corporate Social Investment, Human Rights, Global Security, Stakeholder Engagement and Government Relations. In this role he sets the company sustainability direction and strategy, as well as positions the company externally as a leader within the global sustainability landscape.
